The First Presbyterian Church of Vernon is dedicated to fulfilling our baptismal vows to guide, nuture and encourage the Church for the life of faith. We are committed to Christian education for all ages especially our children.

Children's Sunday School, 9:30 am
Our children's Sunday School class is based on a Rotation Model Curriculum. We have recently remodeled our classrooms to create an exciting and inviting experience for our children.

Youth Sunday School, 9:30 am
We currently have two youth Sunday School classes. One is an intensive Bible study, and the other is based on the "Walk With Me" curriculum.

Adult Sunday School, 9:30 am
Over the past few years, our adult Sunday School class has enjoyed an intensive study of the book of Romans, a look at the biblical themes in Brahm's Requiem, and a survey of the Dead Sea Scrolls. We encourage questions and discussion.

Pastor's Bible Study, Most Sundays at 7 pm

Every year we try to have a variety of classes covering materials from the Old Testament, the Gospels and the Epistles. Occasionally, we explore different themes such as our recent studies on the Da Vinci Code and the music of U2.
